Transfer upon arrival to your three or four star hotel on own. Copenhagen Airport is only a short train ride from the Central Station, or take a taxi directly to your hotel. Remainder of the day is free to rest and get to know one of the world’s oldest and most spectacular kingdoms.
After a good Scandinavian buffet breakfast, a full day in Copenhagen free to explore on own or take an optional city tour. Consider visiting the Royal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Castle, The Little Mermaid, and more. This evening we recommend a visit to the famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park, open annually from May 01 - September 16. Dates are subject to change.
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy another day in Copenhagen in the shopping areas including the mile-long pedestrian street Strøget lined with shops and department stores. If you prefer to see parts of the scenic countryside you can take an optional castle tour of North Sealand or take a train to one of the nearby sights.
After breakfast at your hotel transfer on own to the central station for a 5-hour X2000 high-speed train ride to Stockholm. As you ride the train through the beautiful Swedish countryside you will see small cozy villages, forests, and sparkling lakes. Arrive in the Swedish capital of Stockholm in the late afternoon. Transfer on own to your three or four star hotel located in the heart of the city close to Central Station. Rest of day free.
After a good Scandinavian buffet breakfast, we recommend taking a combined coach and boat tour of Stockholm. Famous sights on the tour include the Royal Palace, the Parliament Buildings, the City Hall, and the Old Town followed by a 1-hour cruise around the royal park of Djurgården. We can also suggest visits to the impressive Drottningholm Palace or the famous Vasa Ship Museum in the afternoon.
Buffet breakfast at hotel. A full day to explore Stockholm and its many sights or take an optional tour. The Stockholm archipelago is spectacular and you can take one of several boat tours available from the downtown harbor.

After breakfast transfer on own to the Central Station for a 6-hour train ride to Oslo. NOTE: Some departures will take longer due to connecting train service required, and surcharges may apply. You’ll arrive in the Norwegian Viking capital in the afternoon or evening. Transfer on own to your three or four star hotel located close to the city center and the Central Station. Remainder of day free.
After a good Scandinavian buffet breakfast, we suggest taking an optional Oslo city sightseeing tour, visiting landmarks and attractions such as the City Hall, the Viking Ship Museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, and more. In the afternoon, a visit to the medieval Akershus Fortress and the World War II Resistance Museum on your own is highly recommended. Evening at leisure.
For guests terminating in Oslo, this tour ends after breakfast. After an early breakfast, transfer on your own to the Central Station. You are now embarking on an expanded version of the famous Norway in a Nutshell tour starting with an 8am or 10.30am 5 hour train ride towards Bergen, via the beautiful Hallingdal Valley to Myrdal. In Myrdal you will change train to the spectacular Flåm Mountain Railroad, descending for 13 miles via 20 tunnels before reaching Flåm Village in about one hour. You will spend the night at a charming four star hotel located next to the rail station. Evening at leisure after you.
Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you look out over the scenic Aurlandsfjord. Flåm is a small fjord village but offers many options for activities including hiking and kayaking. You can either depart in the morning or mid-afternoon, on a 2-hour fjord cruise along the Aurlands and Nærøy Fjord to Gudvangen.
In Gudvangen you will connect to the scheduled bus to Voss. Upon arrival in Voss you will connect to the Bergen train for a 1-hour ride to Bergen Station. In Bergen transfer on your own to your three or four star hotel next to the harbor.

We recommend a local city sightseeing tour (May 01 - September 30 only) that includes a visit to Troldhaugen Museum, the home of famous Norwegian composer Edward Grieg and Old Bergen Museum or Fantoft stave church.
